CHILD SAFETY
The Elmore Football Netball Club is dedicated to keeping children and young people safe. We believe every child has the right to feel protected, valued and supported. Everyone involved with our club shares the duty to look after the wellbeing of the children in our care.
We strive to create a friendly and welcoming space where children feel respected, heard and comfortable to share their feelings. We actively support children’s rights and take steps to stop any harm or abuse from happening.
Our club is committed to making sure all children feel safe and included, no matter their background, culture, or if they have a disability. This includes children from First Nations and diverse cultural communities.
In 2026, our Child Safe Officers are Darren Trewick (Football Operations) and Liz Trewick (Netball Operations). They volunteer in this important role and are fully supported by our club’s leaders and coaches.
Darren and Liz are the first people to talk to if someone has worries or concerns about the safety or wellbeing of a young person at our club. They proudly promote our safety values and work closely with the club’s committee to make sure our policies are followed. Their goal is to keep our environment safe, respectful, and supportive for every child.
